About Kevin Nobles

Mr. Nobles is a qualitative research consultant with over 20 years of industry experience (8+ with P&G, 12 with Nobles Research). He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Business Administration. He also has earned an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati. He completed moderator training with Prewitt and Cummins, Ltd. Mr. Nobles is a trained and experienced moderator with a technical background.

He is experienced in designing, conducting, analyzing and summarizing various forms of qualitative and quantitative research. He also has experience with non-traditional qualitative research techniques such as metaphor elicitation and storytelling. In addition, he has extensive experience with online methodologies such as online bulletin board focus groups and Video Diary interviews.

His list of qualitative project experience covers several categories and companies. Some of the categories Mr. Nobles has worked on include consumer packaged goods, video games, pet care, healthcare, beauty care, retail, and utilities. Over his career he has conducted hundreds of focus groups and interviews.

Some of the companies he has worked for include Procter and Gamble, The Clorox Company, Glad JV, MillerCoors, General Mills, Nestle, Kraft Foods, TXU Energy, Bloomberg BNA, Weintraub Advertising, McSwain Carpets, American Eagle, Masterfoods USA, a division of Mars, Inc., and Ubisoft.

As founder of Nobles Research, a market research firm, his mission is to provide clients with an understanding of their target audience through the use of market research. Prior to launching Nobles Research, Mr. Nobles worked for more than eight years as a product researcher at the Procter and Gamble Company. During that time, Mr. Nobles developed successful concepts and product designs (three launched nationally) that required spending hundreds of hours designing, conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research to obtain an understanding of consumers’ perceptions, needs, and desires. In that time he gained exposure to moderating focus groups and conducted hundreds of one-on-one interviews. His experience at Procter and Gamble allowed him to develop excellent communication and listening skills. Kevin’s familiarity with interviewing techniques such as probing and laddering can be applied across diverse categories to gather relevant insights.
